Danny Cuda

Danny Cuda is a fully registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.  He is also a registered Personal Trainer with Fitness Australia.  Danny has worked in a variety of contexts over the past 16 years; forensics, adolescent mental health, and private practice.  He completed his 4-year Bachelor of Psychology degree at James Cook University and graduated in 2000, and subsequently completed his 2-year internship in a forensic setting.  Danny maintains a high standard of practice via continued professional development and has completed the Master of Counselling program at the University of New England.  

Danny has a strong commitment towards evidence-based practice, and passionate about working with individuals, couples and families who may present with:  depression, anxiety, post-trauma, personality and identity concerns, loss and grief, complex trauma, relationship difficulties, personal and work-related stressors, substance misuse, and adjustment.  The following theoretical approaches are part of the framework he integrates and operates within:  Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Psychodynamics, Narrative Therapy (NT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.

Marlene Anderson

Marlene is a holistic clinical psychologist who calls Townsville, North Queensland home. Marlene felt the call at a young age to study psychology to support others in managing life’s challenging and difficult times. Today, with over 21 years’ experience as a psychologist, together with lived experience, Marlene brings this wealth of knowledge, skills and wisdom to her practice.

Nurturing and compassionate by nature, Marlene provides a safe and supportive space for clients on their healing journey. Therapeutically, Marlene integrates evidence based psychological frameworks together with holistic approaches to build self-awareness and empower clients to live meaningful and flourishing lives.

Marlene’s interest in the areas of mindset, performance and positive psychology have brought an added dimension of how best to support others to thrive and live flourishing lives; and to achieve growth, even in the face of adversity. Marlene is a proud Mum of 2 boys and military wife of 27 years. With her connection to the ADF, Marlene is passionate about supporting our current serving members, their families, and veterans.

Sally O’Brien

Sally enjoys assisting adults with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues and those with difficulties with in interpersonal settings at home/within the family and at work. Sally has over 23 years of experience. Sally aims to provide an individually based approach to each client, taking into account their personality, family and cultural background and values, to provide an outcome that is workable and long lasting. She has a strong commitment to providing both an evidence-based approach in her work.

Sally is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychologist’s Board of Australia and a Clinical College member with the Australian Psychological Society. She has worked in community and hospital settings as well as extensive experience in the private practice area. She completed a four-year sequence of undergraduate training at Monash University in Melbourne and is a Master of Clinical Psychology (James Cook University). Sally has worked closely with the military population (both current and past serving) and their families as well as those in the general community.

Sally practices in Townsville and can offer face to face and Telehealth counselling sessions.

Justine Goddard

Justine is a registered psychologist, consultant, and educator with over two decades of experience supporting adults through life’s most complex and vulnerable moments.

Her practice is grounded in compassion, clinical insight, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. Justine works with individuals navigating grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep difficulties, and major life transitions. She draws from a comprehensive therapeutic toolkit including EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy tailoring each approach to meet the needs of the person in front of her.
Her career spans both government and private sectors, including multidisciplinary teams and solo practice. From 2011 to 2016, she founded and led a mindfulness retreat in Bali, offering restorative experiences for individuals seeking emotional renewal. She has also contributed to academic settings as a tutor and lecturer, most recently at the JCU School of Medicine and Dentistry.

In February 2025, Justine facilitated trauma-informed care training for educators, carers, and administrative personnel at Sunrise Orphanage in Cambodia. The program focused on building practical capacity to support vulnerable children through compassionate, evidence-informed strategies that promote psychological safety and resilience.

In addition to individual counselling, Justine provides consultation to fellow therapists and small groups—supporting reflective practice, clinical formulation, and professional growth.
